Within the shadows of Disney’s Magic Kingdom, there was one thing magical occurring at UCF final season.
Wealthy Wallace, in his first season teaching his alma mater, introduced in 20 transfers and eight freshmen – plus a brand new employees – and blended all of it collectively because the Knights, based mostly in Orlando, reached an NCAA regional for the primary time since 2017.
On the Tallahassee Regional, the Knights, seeded third, knocked second-seeded Alabama, 8-7. UCF later eradicated Stetson, 5-2, earlier than getting beat within the finals by host Florida State.
